Jean Paul
Jean Paul built his expertise from the ground up, working hands-on at his family’s stone business. Today, he leads SD Stone Studio with a focus on craftsmanship, client education, and delivering premium materials at honest prices—helping clients bring their dream spaces to life.
David Salas
With more than 25 years of hands-on experience in the granite and stone industry, David Salas is a master craftsman and proud partner at SDstone Studio. Trained under his uncle, Genaro Escobosa, at GMG Stone, David developed a deep understanding of every aspect of the trade — from templating and fabrication to installation and supervision. Known for his precision, reliability, and commitment to excellence, David personally oversees each project to ensure delivery of the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship across every surface we create.
Serving San Diego since 2013
Established in 2013 SD Stone Studio was founded through a partnership between Jean Paul H. and Norberto Escobosa—longtime friends who combined decades of individual expertise to create a customer-focused remodeling business. Mr. Escobosa, a seasoned craftsman, oversees countertop fabrication and installation, ensuring precision and quality. Jean Paul leads client relations, design, and sales, prioritizing transparency and seamless project experiences from start to finish.
